Hi! I'm Chrissy from Turtle Tootsie Polishes. In 2012 I was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer. I went through chemo, radiation and numerous surgeries, but I'm here today and I'm a survivor! I learned many things while I was sick and I always had the dream of opening my own business. Well, after almost two years of research and experimenting and testing, I opened Turtle Tootsie Polishes.
Handmade Natural Beauty (La Crosse, WI)
Hello! I'm Angie from Handmade Natural Beauty. I've been making natural pampering goodies since 2001 when I made some glyerin soaps to split a craft show booth with my mom. My little side hobby quickly grew into a passion/obsession and eventually was able to fulfill my desire to become self-employed. Three years ago, I opened a retail boutique in our historic downtown district featuring my line and other handmade gifts. Over the last 14 years my love for learning and creating has grown the line from solely glycerin soaps, to a full bath, body, cosmetic and home scenting line. I'm also in the process of launching Sassy Pants Polish, an indie nail polish company, which is how Chrissy and I met and became friends. I was delighted when she asked me to collaborate with her on this very special collection!
